How much does ceramic coating cost in Eastbourne?
Our five-year ceramic coating is £425, and that price includes a stage 1 machine polish to correct the paint before the coating goes on. Correction matters because a coating is transparent and seals in whatever finish sits underneath it, so polishing first is not an upsell — it is what makes the coating worth having.
How long does a ceramic coating last?
Between two and five years depending on the product, the number of layers and how the car is washed and stored. Maintenance washing with the right technique is the single biggest factor in reaching the upper end of that range.
Is ceramic coating better than PPF?
They solve different problems. A ceramic coating makes a car easier to clean and holds gloss, but it is microns thick and will not stop a stone chip. PPF is a physical barrier that absorbs impact. Many customers fit PPF to the front end and coat the rest of the car.
Do I still need to wash a ceramic coated car?
Yes, though noticeably less often and far more easily. The coating stops dirt bonding hard to the paint, so contamination rinses away rather than needing to be worked off. We provide aftercare guidance with every coating.
