Paint protection film being formed by hand around a car body line

Paint Protection Film

THE ULTIMATE
INVISIBLE ARMOUR.

A clear urethane film that takes the stone chips, road rash and UV so your paint never has to. Cut to the millimetre.

The problem

PAINT LOSES
ITS FIRST LIFE FAST.

Factory paint is applied once. Everything after that is a repair.

A motorway run behind a lorry is enough. Grit lifts off the road at speed and arrives at the bonnet leading edge with more force than most owners imagine.

By the second winter the front bumper of a daily-driven car is usually peppered. Each strike is small. Together they are the difference between a car that looks cared for and one that looks used.

The solution

A LAYER
BETWEEN THE TWO.

Paint protection film sits on top of the clear coat as a sacrificial layer. Impact energy is absorbed by the film rather than the paint, and the topcoat reflows with heat to lift light marks out of itself.

What it stops

WHAT IT
TAKES FOR YOU.

Stone chips

The reason most cars get filmed. Grit at speed, absorbed by the film.

Road rash

The fine peppering across the bumper and sills that builds up unnoticed.

Light scratching

Wash marks and brush contact, lifted by the self-healing topcoat.

Environmental damage

UV fade, bird lime etching and bonded fallout held off the paint.

Everyday driving

Door edges, sill scuffs, boot lips. The damage that comes from use.

Coverage

How much
of the car.

Coverage should follow how the car is actually used. Not sure which applies? Start with how you drive.

Front End

Bumper, bonnet leading edge, wings, mirrors and headlights. The panels that take almost every stone chip on the A22 and A27.

£950

Full Car

Every painted panel wrapped. Complete protection with no visible transition line anywhere on the car.

From £2,950

Custom Areas

Door cups, sill guards, boot lips, rear arches. Targeted protection for the spots that chip and scuff first.

Why Form

THE DETAIL IS
THE DIFFERENCE.

Precision fitment

Patterns cut to your exact model, then adjusted by hand on the car. A pattern is a starting point, not a finished job.

Obsessive preparation

Film is transparent. It broadcasts whatever sits underneath it, so the paint is corrected before anything goes on.

Wrapped edges

Film taken around the edge wherever the panel allows, so there is no cut line sitting on a visible surface.

Indoors, always

Controlled lighting and no airborne dust. Nothing is fitted on a driveway or at the roadside.

FAQ

Paint protection film questions

How much does paint protection film cost in Eastbourne?

Front-end paint protection film is £950, covering the bumper, bonnet leading edge, wings, mirrors and headlights. Full-car coverage starts from £2,950. The figure on a full car moves with panel complexity and the condition of the paint, so we confirm a fixed price before any work starts.

How long does PPF last?

A quality film fitted correctly lasts between five and ten years. The film carries a manufacturer warranty against yellowing, cracking and delamination, and we back the fit itself. Cars kept outdoors year-round sit at the lower end of that range.

Will you be able to see the film on my car?

On a correctly fitted install, no. We wrap the film around panel edges wherever the panel allows so there is no cut line sitting on a visible surface. On panels that cannot be wrapped, the edge is tucked into a shut line or a natural body crease.

Can PPF be removed later?

Yes. Film removed within its service life comes off cleanly and leaves factory paint underneath in the condition it went on, which is usually better than the surrounding unprotected panels. We do not recommend removing it yourself, as heat control is what keeps the paint safe.

Does PPF need to go on a new car?

No, but new is easiest. On an older car we correct the paint first, because film locks in whatever is underneath it. Any swirls or chips present at fitting stay there until the film comes off.
